Improvised Bodies

Improvised Bodies 1 is an experiment by connective tissue that developed as a distant collaboration in lockdown 2, with a daily practice unfolding in Edinburgh and London. We harnessed the disjointed and disembodied ways of communicating that had become a disturbing new normal during Covid-19. We explored both what kinds of coherence and development can emerge from a decision to embody disjunction and disembodiment, and what kinds of changed perspectives (and shadow worlds) it allowed us to sense and realise in sound and image.
