Professorships

Since 1 December 2022 I have been Professor of Intercultural Performing Arts at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, and the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts in Leiden. When I moved from the UK to take up these entangled positions, they seemed to draw together the multiple strands of my hybrid creative practice. A further opportunity emerged on 1 January 2025, when I was seconded from Codarts to Willem de Kooning Academy - a university for arts and design in Rotterdam - to support the development of sound-based research and educational programmes.
